WHAT IS "RAMADAN"

RAMADAN ( ALSO CALLED AS "RAMZAN") IS CONSIDERED VERY SACRED MONTH IN ISLAM. IT IS THE NINTH MONTH OF ARABIC YEAR. THE MONTH IS VERY SPECIAL FOR ISLAMIC PEOPLE, IN WHICH FASTING IS KEPT FOR 30 DAYS.


WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT RAMADAN :

MUSLIM. PEOPLE ARE FASTING FOR THE SATISFACTION OF ALLAH  . ACCORDING TO KURAN RAMADAN IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PART. WHICH ARE FIRST , SECOND AND THIRD ASHRA. ASHRA MEANS TEN(10). THE WHOLE MONTH IS DIVIDED THREE PART IN TEN DAYS.

FIRST TEN DAYS FROM 1 - 10 RAMADAN.

THESE TEN DAYS ARE CALLED " PERIOD OF MERCY " ( RAHMAT): PEOPLE ARE FASTING THESE DAYS FOR RAHMAT OR BLESS AND THEY ALSO HELP POOR PEOPLE BY DONATING FOOD.

SECOND TEN DAYS FROM RAMADAN 11-20:

THE SECOND PERIOD IS CALLED BIRKOT. BORKOT MEANS BLESSING. BLESSING ON PEOPLE , FOOD , AND ENTIRE THE WORLD.

THIRD TEN DAYS FROM RAMADAN 21-30 .
THE THIRD AND LAST TEN DAYS IS CALLED MUGFIRAT MEANS FORGIVE, SAVE US FROM THE FIRE OF JAHANAMM ( HELL).

IFTER IS THE MEAL EATEN IN EVENING  DURING  RAMADAN. IN IFTER  PEOPLE PREPARE  VARIETY  FOOD ITEMS. 

SAHRI IS THE MEAL THAT EATEN IN PRE DAWN DURNING  RAMADAN.
