2. Balaram's chariot is recognized as 'Taladhwaj', which is 14 wheels 13.2 meters high. It is made of 763 pieces of red, green cloth and wood. The protectors of the chariot are Vasudev and Sarathi Matali. The flag of the chariot is called Unani. Tribra, Ghora, longsharma and Swarna Nava are its horse. The rope by which the chariot is drawn is called Basuki.
3. Padmadhvaj 'means the chariot of Subhadra. The 12.9 meter high 12 wheel chariot uses 593 pieces of wood with red, black cloth. The chariot guard is Jayadurga and the charioteer Arjuna. Rathdhwaj is called Nadambik. Rochik, Mochik, Zita and Aparajita are its horse. The rope pulling it is called swarnachuda.
4. Every year, in the month of Ashada, Shukla Dwitiya takes a Jagannath Rath Yatra. This is a big ceremony, in which devotees from different parts of India come and participate. This festival / yatra, which is celebrated for ten days, is also called 'Gondiya Yatra'.

The chariot construction for the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath started on Monday amid lockdown. This annual Rath Yatra is to begin from 12 June 2021.
Officials said that construction work is going on in the 'Rath Kala' located on both sides of Jagannath Temple Office and Grand Road.
He said that blockers have been put on the construction site and it has been covered with clothes as per administration's instructions. The law of social distance is being followed. The 'Rath Kala' has also been declared a prohibited area.
Bijay Mahapatra, the head carpenter of Lord Jagannath Rath, told that the chariot is being constructed under the guidelines of lockdown. The rule of maintaining social distance is being followed and all people also wear masks at work. He said that work was started here after the Central Government gave permission to start construction activities in 'Rath Kala'.
